Rosé Cocktail + Fresh Raspberry Cocktail in One
As promised in last week’s Galentine’s Day Brunch post, here is the recipe for the cute and festive rosé cocktail w. fresh raspberries. Valentine’s Day seems to be all about sugar, so I wanted to create something festive for the gal pal holiday and easy for a brunch. These drinks combine lemon-lime soda and wine for the perfect sparkling rosé cocktail. Add a sugared rim and some fresh raspberries and we have the perfect easy rosé cocktail for a girls get-together.
Simple Rosé Wine Cocktail Spritzer
There are some cocktails out there that are amazing and amazingly complicated with tons of ingredients I pretty much never have on hand. I’ve found, however, that sometimes less is more when it comes to homemade cocktails. The calm flavors in this rosé cocktail blend nicely for a drink you can sip on for a while without getting yourself into trouble. Besides the ease of ingredients, the drink is also pretty simple to make. You can switch up the glass shape for whatever suits your fancy or what you have on hand. Besides mixing the ingredients, all I did was to add a sugared rim – something you could totally skip! It’s also quite inexpensive, so you can save money for other tasty food (maybe these red pepper toasts), gifts (everyone will love these), or for a rainy day.
You could also easily transform this cocktail to be appropriate for other holidays by changing the fruit and the color of the sugared rim. Pomegranate seeds? Yum! Cranberries? Love it! You could even do blueberries for a fun red, white, and blue cocktail that’ll be perfect in the summer heat!
ROSÉ COCKTAIL W. RASPBERRIES
This rosé cocktail is surprisingly easy to throw together and incredibly light. It's the perfect mix for a hot day or a get-together that doesn't need strong drinks. I love changing the color of the sugared rim and the fresh fruit to fit the season or holiday.
