When it comes to holiday entertaining, there are a lot of things to plan, prep, and carry out (on top of all the other many to-do lists around this time of year). I love good cocktails, but I will focus on the food before all else when having friends and family over to our house. You can always serve wine or even have guests provide the drinks for your get-together. No need to do it all yourself! My recent obsession, however, is one of these festive prosecco serving ideas!
Simply chill a bottle of prosecco or white wine the day of your get-together. You can serve it on its own, but I love jazzing it up with fresh, festive fruit or by stirring in an extra flavor. Just don’t forget to put your bottles in the fridge in time! All the glass serving suggestions are just ideas – feel free to serve the sparkling wine in whatever you have!

Prosecco + Elderflower Liqueur | Decorative Tumbler
St. Germain is a delicious liqueur, adding fun flavor to so many cocktails. You can also use elderflower syrup here in lieu of the alcoholic version.

Prosecco + Persimmon Slices | Old-Fashioned Glass
Persimmons are my new favorite fruit and I just love the design they have when sliced horizontally. This video shows how to slices persimmons if you’re unsure.

Prosecco + Blood Orange | Stemless Champagne Glass
Blood orange syrup adds not only a tangy twist but also a sweeter sip for your guests!

Prosecco + Cranberry Skewers | Wine Glass
The ultimate in Christmas and New Year’s – fresh cranberries add color and ambiance but not flavor, but isn’t this just beautiful? Serve them on these broken skewers or let them float freely in the wine (not too many, however). This is the simplest of these festive prosecco serving ideas, but it might be my favorite!
