I’m back stateside and it feels good to be home. Our trip was nothing short of amazing and awe-inspiring in so many ways. In fact, we were so busy and everything was so new and interesting that I wasn’t sure how happy I’d be to be home and back to work, but luckily, I’m enjoying it very much. And I’m almost back in the right time zone on my sleep! I fully expected summer to be in full swing upon our return from the trip (Los Angeles has a way of doing that in May), but somehow southern California flipped a U-ie (I had to look up that spelling) and we’re back in early spring with temps in the 60s and 70s for at least the next week. With such temps, and that darn wind, looks like this comfortable blue khaki pants outfit are more than welcome.
Blue Khaki Pants Outfit
I’ve always felt khakis/chinos accentuated thighs in an unflattering way, so I’ve largely avoided them, but this darker color is more flattering than most. These khakis have a bit of stretch that helps make them a much better option for women with curves and makes them really comfortable. And, actually, they’re beginning to stretch just slightly – in all the right ways. Anyway, pair these khakis with my favorite striped top and I’m ready to go for at least the next week in this weather.
Cuffing Khaki Pants/Chinos
Another favorite outfit feature of late is rolling my pant cuffs for a somewhat more tailored look. When I was younger I did chunkier folds, but these smaller folds are my thing at the moment, since they seem to elongate my legs while adding a ‘preppy’ style to my look!
