Dragon Fruit Bowl
There’s little better in the world than the pure bliss of delicious, fresh fruit in the summer, I think! I grew up devouring kiwis and then mangoes once I discovered their amazingness. In the last few years, I’ve fallen in love with dragon fruit and passion fruit too. I just can’t get enough. Melissa’s sent me a “Deluxe Exotic and Tropical Fruit Basket” a few months back and I couldn’t wait to dig in. The only problem was, I didn’t know how to dig into some of the fruits! Once I did learn how to handle them, however, this tropical fruit salad was a no-brainer. And how awesome is this dragon fruit bowl for serving a tropical fruit salad? Certainly kicking up my salad recipe repertoire.
Because I had no idea about a lot of these fruits when I first tried them, I asked if we could make a video on how to cut and enjoy pineapple, kiwi, dragon fruit, passion fruit, persimmon, cherimoya, feijoa, and everything else in the box! Did you know that trick about the pineapple leaves? Or the mango-cup thing? How about the secret of kiwi skins?
