I absolutely love entertaining. I love having friends and family over the most, but I also love dreaming up a menu and cooking a bunch of food. If there’s one thing about entertaining where I fall short, however, it’s decor. My sister Jo, however, THRIVES on finding the perfect decor. Where I find it overwhelming, she finds it exhilarating. And where I find it to be an endless search with little result, she can pop out a complete table setup in no time at all and with a smile on her face no less. (Just look at the French-themed bridal shower she did for me!) For Easter next week, she’s scheming menus and decor while my mom and I sit in awe of her party planning skills. Watching her create her real and dream Easter table decor has been so much fun, I asked her to send me some things to share with you all…
In a few hours, she sent me an entire Easter table setup – basic table cloth and beautiful spring napkins to cake toppers and confetti all in the theme of “SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU!” So cute, right? The best part about all the stuff she found, however, is that you can add one thing to your holiday table or you can add them all. And because Easter is less than two weeks away, a lot of these fun finds are ON SALE but should arrive in plenty of time!
Easter Table Decor
The thing I loved most (but didn’t expect) from Jo’s picks were that they created a whole table – not just a collection of fun Easter-themed decor. She started with a basic white table cloth and beautiful white dishes – both of which can be used all year! She finished off the place settings with gold silverware/flatware. You can get high-quality gold flatware from Crate & Barrel. If you don’t plan to use them every day, however, Target has a beautiful set. And if you’re really looking for easy cleanup, you can always get the plastic silverware in gold (please note – she probably doesn’t support this last recommendation, but when she starts going by Luci, we can talk!!!)
The Place Settings
Ok, so now it’s time to get ‘bunny!’ These linen napkins in blue mist scream Easter in this setup, but they’d be ideal all spring and summer! Kick your place settings up a notch with these bunny napkin rings. No need to worry about a fancy fold, just place the napkin on the table (unfolded), pinch the center, and pull it through the ring! And for the kids, because she thought of it all, these bunny paper napkins. If I were to guess, the adults would love these cute napkins too, but then again I’m a big kid at heart!
The Perfect Details
No surprise here, but Jo found three perfect ways to finish off the table – all glittery and fabulous. These stunning Ornament Eggs really bring the napkins and one of the cakes (below) together in a stunning and elegant display. There are two styles left and they’re on sale for $5 from Pottery Barn!!
A different route (although the two could easily be combined) is bunny confetti from an Etsy Shop called “Confetti Momma” that sells at least 190 confetti options, but I think that doesn’t include color options. OMG, right?! Confetti is never something I would think of for a chic table setup, but every time she adds it to the table, it looks perfect – a great festive addition that doesn’t take up room, doesn’t block conversation, and doesn’t cost much! I think if you’re only going to add one thing from these Easter table decor ideas, the confetti should be it! The matching glitter bunny cups, however, are a little too adorable and easy not to add to your cart too!
Easter Table Decorations
Jo’s picks for her Easter table didn’t stop at dishware and confetti. She’s having her cake and eating it too!! Start with a basic white cake stand (again something you can use all year) and then put a FABULOUS dessert on top! These super cute cake options would certainly save a lot of hassle for you if you’re hosting Easter at your house. I can’t pick between the Blue Rose Cake that matches the napkins and ornament eggs (I mean, talk about chic!) or the Easter Bunny Bottom Cake (HOW CUTE!!!!). Luckily, I’m not the one deciding on dessert this year…
Bunny Cake Decor
Whether you buy your dessert or make it at home, bring your cake and cupcakes into the theme with these easy cake toppers. Pick between the “Happy Easter” Cake Topper (pictured second) or the bunny ear cake topper with eyelashes and nose set (pictured third). And if you’re making cupcakes, not to fret, there are individual bunny ear cupcake toppers!
And if you just can’t get enough, here are a few final touches that will really make your Easter table decor remembered forever… This monogrammed Easter Basket name charm will have kids young and old jumping for joy – note it’s just the name, not the basket itself. I think you could hang this from an Easter Basket or place it at each table setting for a super personal touch!
This sleek bunny ear wine stopper is part of the Emily & Merrit collection for Pottery Barn. They were the original designers of Current/Elliott jeans, so you can guess I’m smitten with all of their designs.
And finally, pretty much the cutest wine bags this world has ever seen! You could bring wine to someone else’s home if you aren’t hosting this year and probably still win a gold star for the day with one of these Dapper Bunny Pants Wine Bag. Or you can send guests home with it!!
