You know it’s spring because I’m obsessed with my white blazer again. I stare at it all winter trying to remember how I ever wore it. Then I grab for it one day and it sees the light of every day for a while (through a few trips to the dry cleaners of course). For a long time, I only paired dark colors with my white blazer, but I’ve recently seen a few ensembles with white shirts and white blazers. WHAT?! The whites are a little off, but that’s actually preferable. My favorite of the white blazer outfits I’ve seen recently was with a white button down shirt with thin stripes. I planned to recreate that look in Napa, but instead this wine tasting outfit is what happened…
Wine tasting Outfit
While I’m ready to pair a white shirt and white blazer together, I will always love my default of bolder hues with white outerwear. This floral dress is perfect for spring, but the white blazer really brightens the whole outfit. I also loved that the boho look of this wrap maxi was elevated with the tailored structure of my white blazer. The number of wine tasting outfit options is endless and dependent on where you’re going, but I thought this ensemble was quite ‘smart,’ shall we say! I looked put together and I was comfortable. And since my dress doesn’t have pockets, the jacket pockets came in handy more than you can imagine!
This APC crossbody bag also came in quite handy. The beautiful structure and the cranberry color continue to amaze me. I’m convinced this bag goes with every single outfit. I’m still fighting with the bag a bit as the opening isn’t as wide as it should be (or I have the hands of a giant, which I don’t think is the case)! Regardless, I keep reaching for it time and time again.
