I realize it might be a little too soon to fall in love with this new monthly beauty edit series (see the only and only previous roundup of natural skincare products here), but once I finished writing that one, I started making notes for what products I wanted to feature this month. I’ve recently been into trying new brands and companies for skincare and beauty that focus on better quality ingredients. This isn’t a massive overhaul, just replacing my go-tos as I use them up. While many clean beauty products are quite expensive, I’m also discovering many that are much more budget-friendly, which is quite exciting. So here’s this month’s roundup of beauty and skincare morsels. . .
Clean Beauty Products
1. Everyone Hand Soap
This is my major find this month. I’ve seen Everyone Hand Soap at the market, but I hadn’t tried it until now. I’ve recently been on a lavender kick and my husband even liked the scent of the soap in the store, so we brought it home. I absolutely LOVE it! I’m big on washing my hands before I wash my face, so our hand soap better smell good – and this one does. AND IT’S ONLY $4! It’s a sizeable bottle and it comes in 6 scents. That apricot & vanilla might have to happen in the guest bath – just sayin!
2. Sole Toscana Neroli Radiance Serum
Sole Toscana is actually a new organic skincare line launching next month. They sent me a lineup of their products to test out and I’m really enjoying them. I started using this radiance serum two weeks ago and love how delicate it is. The scent is subtle and my skin is looking more radiant. I can’t wait to see what else is in store. You can sign up to get all the details here! And I’ll be sure to share when I hear everything is available for purchase!
3. Lanolips Lip Balm
I was on the hunt for a nice lip gloss that wasn’t tacky – who actually likes sticky lip products? The Lanolips lip balm seemed to be an online favorite, so I ordered it to give it a go. The color doesn’t last super long, but the moisturizing factor for my lips is nice – it’s a great on-the-go lip product that you’ll reach for again and again!
4. Nubian Heritage Body Scrub
I’m pretty in love with body scrubs and have been for years! I recently discovered this Nubian Heritage Body Scrub at the market. I was initially hesitant about the scent – patchouli doesn’t normally ring my bell -, but the combination of the scent with buriti (an Amazonian fruit) is so lovely! This has been one of my favorite body scrubs in a while!
5. Schmidt’s Bar Soap
After years of struggling to figure out what to use when shaving my legs – I never loved shaving cream and honestly used shampoo for years – I recently landed on bar soap as the perfect answer. I’ve been using Schmidt’s unscented soap for months and love it, but I can’t wait to try this lavender + sage scent next. Schmidt’s has all natural bar soaps, toothpaste, shower gels, and deodorants in a wide range of scents, including unscented which is a dream come true in my humble opinion. You can buy them online from Schmidt’s directly or at Target!
