I have this weird affinity for pieces and styles that are available season after season. It makes sense really – designers continue to produce pieces that sell well and are liked by many people. Whenever a style is around for more than one or two seasons, however, it’s also a good sign it’ll be a classic piece and wearable in 10 years. 20 years? 50? Since I have a propensity to fall in love with pieces, this is major in my book. One of those classics? My Tory Burch Clutch. . .
Tory Burch Clutch Review
A few years ago, I did a roundup of black crossbody bags here on LM. I was on the hunt! My husband took the not so subtle hint and picked out this one for my birthday not long after! While I obviously liked it at the time, I never really understood how much you needed a small black bag in your wardrobe. Nor did I know just how much I would wear the Tory Burch Clutch as both a clutch, a shoulder bag, and a crossbody bag.
In reality the bag is described as a wallet on a chain. It has a zippered compartment and slots for cards on the inside. I can fit my phone and a lip product or my keys, but it’s a bit of a struggle to fit all three – so don’t expect much more in the way of room. I absolutely love the gold hardware – it really classes up the straightforward piece. The Tory Burch logo has since been redesigned to be a little smaller which is never a bad decision in my book. But otherwise, it looks the same. The bag is available in an array of colors (I, of course love this camel color and the navy) and even a few prints (here and here) depending on the season! It really is a staple bag for everyone.
