Weather is happening in LA. All you non-Angelenos, please laugh. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard cold and rain referred to as having weather – as though sunshine isn’t weather too! It gives me the giggles every time! I’m also rejoicing in the cool, wet weather and enjoying all my cozy lazers this week. These boots, for example, were a purchase for our trip to Scotland last year. Other than when I’m traveling, I haven’t been able to get any wear out of them… until this week that is! I’m a huge fan of UGG shoes (not just their slippers) and they have an expanding line of rain boots that I wanted to share with you. . .

UGG Rain Boots Reviews
UGG has a few styles of rain boots. This style I have provides a ton of support as well as having the classic cut of a riding boot. The laces are for style, but also to make them fit exactly to your calf and foot – great for someone like me with hearty calves and small ankles. They didn’t release the style again this season, but they have a shorter version available (in brown and black).
The other style of rain boots UGG released is more along the lines of a traditional rain boot made of rubber. I bought my mom the shorter version in matte cranberry for Christmas. We’ve had such great luck with the comfort and support of UGG shoes, I couldn’t pass them up. Traditionally rain boots don’t have much support, so I was excited to have her try these ones out and see if they were any better. So far, she’s liking them! The boots also have fur lining on the insole, so they’re cozy!
I’ve also been totally in love with my LL Bean poncho I found when we were in Maine! It’s great as a layer over tshirts, button up shirts, and even my big turtleneck sweater. No surprise my love of ponchos and capes is holding strong!
