Do you ever have those images of outfits stuck in your head for, well, forever? I think I saw a look like this casual blazer outfit years ago (5 maybe?). I’m sure I’ve recreated it, but it still sticks in my mind. I’m having to embrace open front pieces a little more now as well, so the comfortable look seemed all the more perfect!

Casual Blazer Outfit
When I bought this blazer last year at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it was pictured with a striped hoodie. I found this sweater hoodie on sale but didn’t order it my first time around, opting for something else instead. When that thing didn’t work out, I returned it for the sweater and have been so happy since then. I’ve actually worn it under my black leather jacket more than this blazer, but it serves the same function! I absolutely love layering in cooler weather (see more of my fall and winter outfits to see more ideas for staying warm).
This beret I picked up in Vancouver is still a hot commodity in my world. Who would have ever thought a burnt orange hat would be so perfect in my wardrobe? I love it as a fun pop of color, but it also pairs well with my cognac colored bags. Even with my tote bag, it seems to take my casual blazer outfit up another level or two!
And then my wedding shoes. Yep, my wedding shoes. After we walked down the aisle, ate dinner, and did our first dances, I ditched the 4″ inch designer heels for these grey Converse. I absolutely love dancing and wasn’t about to miss out at my own wedding! They’re still a mainstay in my closet and I’m seriously considering another color. Of course I want white, but maybe another color would be better!
