As I’m nearing the end of my second trimester, I’ve fully entered the growth stage. Our little one is very healthy and mostly just growing at this point. I’m so happy about all this, but I am getting used to my growing size and it’s not always an easy process. I don’t know if I’m going to write about this part of pregnancy, it’s still kind of new to me, but there’s no point in keep it a secret. I absolutely LOVE my maternity clothes (see my second trimester clothes basics). And it is so wonderful to be able to mix them in with my open-front outerwear and my shoes! This ensemble is my recent take on a pregnancy outfit for work (in the office or to a meeting).
Pregnancy Outfit for Work
You might remember this blazer from last year. I shared it as part of why I buy clothes that are too big. It certainly wasn’t intentional and it’s totally obvious, but I’m loving it with this growing belly of mine! These black maternity jeans have been a godsend when I need to dress up in cool weather. Adding this long blazer was the perfect touch and I was so happy to be in a pair of heels. Dainty is not a familiar feeling these days, but I feel cute and chic in this ensemble!
We’re prepping for our trip to Europe next week. I’ll be gone for a few weeks and I’m hoping not to be stuffing my suitcase as full this time. Obviously I’ll be using all these tips for how not to overpack. Having a semi-limited wardrobe should help, but my shoes and purses all still fit! I recently got a few nicer maternity clothes as well that I’m hoping to wear with layers and out to some nice dinner! Wish me luck when we pull out suitcases, however!
