I tend to live in my jeans year round. The only guaranteed days I won’t be in jeans are those coming in at over 90°. Much below that, I’ll opt for boyfriend jeans or something similar. Obviously, I love dresses, but they just aren’t my norm as much as I try. Because I’m always in pants, you can bet my tops and shoes are very seasonally appropriate – you know, so I don’t combust of heat stroke or something traumatizing like that! After switching up my nail polish colors, it’s usually my shoes that get swapped out first with a new season. Since my tootsies are a little tired of socks, boots, and anything totally closed up, I’m eyeing just about every single pair of ladies spring shoes I can find right now.
Ladies Spring Shoes
The fun thing about spring shoes is that you can have open heels, open toes or both! If you haven’t gotten around to getting a pedicure just yet (no judgement here), then you might grab a pair of mules that cover your toes. If you’re like me and your little piggies need to wiggle free, however, there are almost too many slides from which to choose!
The other fun thing about all these spring shoes, ladies, is that you can wear all sorts of colors. In the winter, we opt for darker shoe colors to hide that cold weather wear and tear. It’s a reality! But now we can splurge a little on lighter hues, brighter tones, and even some fun prints and embroideries. Since my spring and summer wardrobe are a little limited these days, a bright pair of something on my feet seems just right!
