Last year, I worked with a company who wanted me to create my own adult Easter Basket. I thought it was such a simple and creative idea, yet it hadn’t crossed my mind before. The company with whom I worked was a grocery store, so I opted primarily for food things (a lot of them, unsurprisingly, for a charcuterie or appetizer setup). This year, however, I opted for a bit of food and some fun beauty products – all from Trader Joe’s.
You don’t have to do the adult Easter basket at Trader Joe’s, but you know how much I love it there. My first though was actually to go shopping at Target for a mix of food, beauty, and maybe some home/kitchen items. But life’s been busy and I think I live at Trader Joe’s part time, so…
Trader Joe’s Gift Ideas
For the Trader Joe’s adult Easter Basket, I got some tasty foods. These fruit and nut bar things were hanging next to the dried fruit and nuts. And meyer lemon cookies are one of their classics – above the freezers. I grabbed a can of Underwood wine (the equivalent of 2 glasses of wine for $5 and it’s pretty tasty!). Next I walked over to the beauty section and just picked out some fun stuff. For this gift basket, I picked their rose water facial toner, shea butter hair mask, and blueberry & acai facial scrub. I haven’t tried any of these products, but the cashier swears by the face scrub and my dear friend praised the virtues of the facial spray. I’ll try the hair mask (well, all three soon) and try to report back!
Easy Adult Easter Basket Ideas
The mix of goodies in your adult easter basket can vary depending on your store, your budget, and your recipient. For guys, I’d get more snacks and maybe beer and a magazine.
