Look! An outfit. I know. Little ole me looking put together in a whole outfit. Since moving, the number of photos of me has certainly declined. My friend who photographed me was no longer nearby and, truthfully, my husband would have taken more photos of me, but I never wanted to. Alas. Here we are with a semi-throwback look in this long grey coat outfit with my jeans!

I missed last summer because we had a newborn and I didn’t get out much. And then I missed all the fun of dressing for last winter as my belly kept growing and growing. Before our Europe trip, however, I was on the hunt for a coat that would accommodate my growing needs but also that I could continue wearing year after year.
In my hunt for waterproof pieces, I stumbled on this coat. I think it was on Nordstrom’s website, but they didn’t have my size at all…
Grey Outfit with Jeans
So on the hunt I went for this long grey coat. The truth is I’d wanted a long grey wool coat for years. I’d seen Helena of Brooklyn Blonde rock hers so effortlessly and beautifully. I just knew it’d be a perfect investment piece for my wardrobe!
So I found the coat of my dreams on Amazon and ordered it. By the time it arrived, it was snug, but I was determined to wear it. Luckily I could close the coat with the tie, saving the buttons and snaps for this season!
And now it’s back in the rotation since we live in a place with colder temps!
And in other news of fashionable finds. I caved and got a second pair of jeans one size up from my pregnancy. I’ve been wanting to hold off of any clothes until I’m back in my normal size to make sure I’ll get the most wear out of them.
These last ten pounds, however, are sloooooow to come off and I’m wearing through the few pairs that actually fit. It’s kind of becoming an issue. So I found these Rag & Bone jeans (oh how I love R&B jeans!) that I feel will look good now and when they’re a little looser.
The photo of the jeans online is deceiving. You can see how long they fit me. I don’t have long legs, but they aren’t THAT much shorter on me.
