Rosé Cocktail w. Fresh Raspberries
Though I tend to be a wine or whisky kind of gal, this festive rosé and Sprite cocktail w. fresh raspberries feels wonderfully light when enjoyed with small bites!
Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day seem to be all about sugar, so I wanted to create something festive for the gal pal holiday and easy for a brunch.
This recipe combines lemon-lime soda and wine for the perfect sparkling rosé cocktail. Add a sugared rim (see how to rim a glass) and some fresh raspberries and we have the perfect easy rosé cocktail for a girls get-together.

Sprite Cocktail
There are some cocktails out there that are amazing and amazingly complicated with tons of ingredients I pretty much never have on hand.
Except for my husband’s foolproof old fashioned, I’ve found that less is more when it comes to homemade cocktails. Most drinks around here are going to be pretty straightforward and doable!
Simple Rosé Wine Spritzer
The calm flavors in this rosé and sprite cocktail blend nicely for a drink you can sip on for a while without getting yourself into trouble. Besides the ease of ingredients, the drink is also pretty simple to make.
Simply mix a rosé wine with lemon lime soda, add your fresh fruit, and you’re good to go. You can always opt for a lemon-lime flavored sparkling water too – the flavor will be different
You can switch up the glass shape for whatever suits your fancy or what you have on hand. Champagne coupes and flutes shown here. Stemless flutes would be great too!
Besides mixing the ingredients, all I did was to add a sugared rim – something you could totally skip!
It’s also quite inexpensive, so you can save money for other tasty food (maybe these red pepper toasts), gifts (everyone will love these), or for a rainy day.
You could also easily transform this cocktail to be appropriate for other holidays by changing the fruit and the color of the sugared rim. Pomegranate seeds? Yum! Cranberries? Love it! (obviously still inspired by my festive prosecco ideas from the last holiday season)!
You could even do blueberries for a fun red, white, and blue cocktail that’ll be perfect in the summer heat! A perfect way to use up seasonal fruit form topping these healthy patriotic waffles!
Galentine’s Day Gift Ideas
As I get older, exchanging gifts with friends for holidays and/or birthdays has largely subsided. But sometimes you just want to spoil your friends a little, don’t you? I do.
Anything from wearwell is a fabulous gift – especially since they only sell sustainable and fair labor brands.
And I’m so in love with this charcoal mask that I give it to anybody who loves skincare!
And anything local (even found on Etsy) is always a good idea – local coffee shop gift cards, locally made jewelry, etc.
Galentine’s Day Recipes
While a pink cocktail may be all you need, there are some other fun naturally red and pink. This Valentine’s Day Appetizer Board is full of red, pink, and purple foods for a fun, festive spread. These blood orange crostini would be a fun option as well!
If you’re looking for a vodka Galentine’s Day cocktail, try this Dirty Shirley! Or try any of these elderflower cocktails – sure to be a crowd pleaser!
