As I was preparing for our little guy to arrive, I wanted to make sure I took care of as many things as I could think of. I figured my sleep wasn’t going to be routine and so my ability to stay on top of things might not be what I’m used to. One of these genius ahead-of-time ideas I had was to buy a few greeting cards for those summer birthdays and anniversaries. While I was looking for these, I also thought of sticking in some thank you cards since I knew we were going to get some help and a blank card for whatever else came up!!
Of course, I wanted to multitask, so I headed to my local Vons to check out their greeting card selection. The card selection is usually near the flowers, so I can always find them easily!! I’m a sucker for flowers, what can I say?!
Anyway, I picked up some things for dinner that night and actually bought some gift cards to stick in one of the birthday cards! Thank you, Vons, for making that a one-stop afternoon!
Summer Greeting Cards
Anyway, I found a great selection of cards. I picked out something for my teenage nephew and my adult cousin as well as two beautiful thank you notes. I also found some hilarious cards that, sadly, were perfect for those non-summer birthdays in my life. At least I know where to go when the time comes though!
If you’ve followed me here or on Instagram for a while, you know I’m big on hand-written notes. I really don’t think it matters what you write inside—it’s the thought that counts—but American Greetings has a “What to Write” page that can help get you started!! I think you just need a little nudge to start. And then you just get better with practice!!
