I'm such a sucker for homemade cookies. We always have at least one variety in our freezer (to keep their freshness) and these butter pecan cookies are usually the main suspect. It's a classic chocolate chip recipe with chopped pecans in place of the chips. So easy and delicious!
Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
In a large bowl, beat sugars, butter, vanilla, and eggs. Add flour mixture to batter and mix until just combined. Add nuts and beat until completely mixed.
Scoop roughly 1 ½ tablespoons of dough onto cookie sheet, leaving about 2-inches of space between each cookie.
