SWEET + SAVORY CORN BUTTER

While grilled corn is hard to beat, it's even more delectable w. compound butters. Try these easy sweet and savory corn butter recipes!

Ingredients

Cinnamon Spice Corn Butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter very soft at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Pinch fine sea salt

Chili Lime Corn Butter

  • ½ cup unsalted butter very soft at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • ½ teaspoon flaked sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder

Instructions

Cinnamon Spice Corn Butter

  • Stir together all ingredients. Place the butter on a sheet of plastic wrap that has been placed on a small baking sheet. Refrigerate for 10 minutes, until it is firm enough to shape.
  • Wrap in the plastic wrap and roll into a log, twisting to seal each end. Place it back in the fridge and you can continue to check it every 10 minutes or so to form and roll in a log as it continues to set.
  • Once it’s completely set, about 2 hours, unwrap and slice to serve.
