POMEGRANATE SANGRIA

This pomegranate sangria holds a special place in my heart as it was the first sangria recipe I created and it set me off on a fun path of recipe creation. This cold drink provides all the warmth and flavors of the holiday season without burning your tongue!

Ingredients

  • 750 mL Riunite Lambrusco Wine*
  • cups pomegranate juice
  • cups ginger beer
  • ½ cup pomegranate seeds
  • ½ lemon seeded and sliced
  • ½ cup brandy or bourbon optional

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in pitcher. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Stir before serving.

Notes

*any Labrusco wine is fine
