ALCOHOL INFUSED WHIPPED CREAM

Every great dessert (homemade or store-bought) is infinitely better with homemade whipped cream. I used to make a box cake for guests. Top it with this delicious and easy whipped cream and fruit for the perfect dessert for everyone!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar plus more to taste
  • 2+ teaspoons alcohol of choice (amaretto, whiskey, brandy)
  • optional additions: 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract, or citrus zest

Instructions

  • In a stand mixer, or with a hand blender and a deep bowl, whip cream.
  • Add in sugar and alcohol of choice when ripples begin to form in the cream. Start with 2 teaspoons. Taste and add more alcohol and sugar to taste.
  • Whip until it maintains desired consistency.
