My love for tartines is usually reinvigorated every time I travel abroad. In this case, it was an extended layover in the Amsterdam Airport. These smoked salmon tartines are top notch because of a bit of horseradish added to the creamy cheese. It can't be beat!
Meanwhile, combine goat cheese, horseradish, chives, and yogurt.
Divide goat cheese spread on toasts. Top with smoked salmon.
Garnish with lemon zest, capers, tarragon, and poppy seeds.
Best if enjoyed immediately, but keeps well covered in the refrigerator for enjoyment later.
