Equipment

  • 1 blender

Ingredients

  • ½ bottle rose wine chilled
  • 2 oz soda water chilled
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup or to taste (optional)
  • 5 cups ice

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Puree on high, 30 to 60 seconds, until the ice is fully blended to a slushie consistency. Serve right away.

Notes

Using a soda water with the a flavor that complements the tasting notes of the wine enhances the flavor (watermelon, strawberry, etc.). The soda water adds a slightly sparkling, fizzy quality.
You can double this recipe for a full bottle of wine - just watch for blender size. You'll likely need to work in batches.
