HOMEMADE TACO MEAT

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons homemade fajita seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat a large skillet over medium-high. Add the ground beef and begin to stir it and break it up as it cooks. Continue to cook for 5 minutes. Use a potato masher or a pastry blender to continue to break up the beef as it cooks.
  • Once the meat is mostly browned, stir in the water and 1 tablespoon of fajita seasoning. Reduce the heat to medium and continue to cook until the beef is no longer pink, about 2 more minutes. Taste and add more fajita seasoning as desired. Remove from the heat and serve.
