NUT BUTTER

Ever made your own nut butter? It's actually very easy and fun. Blending the nut butter yourself meads you can decide how crunchy or smooth it is. You can also play around with flavors. Here's my favorite nut and seed butter recipe.

Equipment

  • 1 food processor or chopper

Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw almonds
  • ½ cup raw hazelnuts
  • ¾ cup roasted, unsalted cashews
  • cup roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or small electric food chopper. Puree until it reaches smooth, buttery consistency.
  • Can be stored at room temperature for one week or refrigerate for up to one month.
