ROSÉ SANGRIA

I love making sangrias. I oftentimes pick wine varietals with which I'm familiar, but when my husband brought me this sparkling rose one night, I immediately wanted to try it with some summer fruit. It's even more refreshing than your classic sangria recipe and those sparkling bubbles are a sure hit with everybody at your table!

Ingredients

  • 1-750 mL Bottle Rosé Brut
  • 12 oz. bottle ginger beer {I love Reed's and Bundaberg}
  • ¼ cup Cointreau or preferred orange liqueur
  • 2 nectarines sliced

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in large pitcher. Stir gently.
  • Chill 2-3 hours before serving.

Notes

Easy variations on the recipe are a sparkling white wine or a 'still' rosé wine. Just make sure it's a wine you want to drink.
Nectarines can easily be subbed for peaches or other fresh, seasonal fruit.
