My Favorite Shops in Sacramento

My Favorite Shops in Sacramento

Whether you live in Sacramento or not, shopping small and/or local is always more sustainable AND summer is often a very slow time for small businesses, so with that in mind, I thought I’d start a place to share my current favorite shops in Sacramento.

This will be an ever growing list as I find more spots and create better images and descriptions to share them all!

Favorite Shops in Sacramento - Superette Market

My Favorite Shops in Sacramento

As a fairly spread-out city, locals will note that there are many areas I haven’t touched on – I just haven’t discovered them yet. I tend to be in the midtown, East Sac, Land Park bubble most, so you’ll see those disproportionately represented for a while. PLEASE comment below with places to check out!

Shops in Sacramento - Nudge Eco

Nudge Eco Store

Surprise, surprise to find a sustainable things store first on my list, but I really love Nudge. They have tons of sustainable options for everything from my beloved compostable floss to toilet paper, dish brushes, makeup, and kids toys.

The shop is in midtown, across from a Temple location (one of my favorite coffee shops in Sacramento) and if you ever thought sustainable couldn’t by stylish, you have to visit the store. It’s all displayed in an open style that makes everything just look SO perfect!

Shops in Sacramento - Kitchen Table

The Kitchen Table

And not surprising to find a kitchen and home goods store on my Sacramento shops list either. The Kitchen Table has 2 locations – one in Land Park and one in East Sac. Their original location was in an old house and they finally outgrew the small space – to two bright, beautiful locations.

Get baking pans and aprons along with cocktail shakers, locally roasted coffee beans, and so much more. Honestly, you’ll have a hard time not grabbing an extra thing or two.

Superette Market

This is a new one (even to locals), Superette Market is a small, catered space for food, drinks, and home goods for entertaining, picnicking, and gifting? My favorite – ok besides the absolutely adorable decor – is the cooler of sparkling fruit sodas!

Their online store is coming soon, but stop in soon to say hi to the owner and grab yourself a tasty treat!!! They recently added cheeses get local sourdough loaves delivered in-store on Fridays!

shops in Sacramento - Constellation Marketplace

Constellation Marketplace

Constellation Marketplace is the perfect spot to go when you need a gift – for someone else of for yourself. I’m a little biased because they sell my cookbooks in store, but there’s honestly so much goodness. Local, handmade jewelry; pottery; kids clothes; and lots of mocktail libation necessities!! It’s such a fun experience to walk around and see everything displayed!

Healthy Iced Tea Recipes for Summer Entertaining

Tea Cozy

Located just next door to Constellation Marketplace is Tea Cozy – your DESTINATION for tea. They have all sorts of tea leaf varietals and mixes. And they’ll even help you create your own perfect tea blend (and then it’s saved in a binder). ๐Ÿคฏ Talk about feeling fancy!!

Shops in Sacramento - East Village Bookshop

East Village Bookshop

If you could ever imagine the perfectly quaint bookshop, East Village Bookshop is it. They have great books, a fun kid section, and the best card selection (IMO)! They offer fun treats for kids and coffee/tea for grownups when the weather calls for it. They’re also part of bookshop.org and can quickly and easily get any book you want!!
