Crunchi Advocate Review

I’ve been a Crunchi Advocate for almost a year. I had a lot of questions at the beginning and along the way. Here is my complete HONEST review of being a Crunchi advocate. If you have more questions, please comment below or email me!
Before getting into all the details, I’d recommend trying Crunchi products first. You can read my Crunchi skincare reviews and my Crunchi makeup review. I love their products, their intentionality with sustainability, and working with the company, but you need to feel that too!

Crunchi Advocate Review
A few things first. What does it mean to be a Crunchi Advocate? To be a Crunchi Advocate, you must sign up with Crunchi as an advocate (no, you don’t need to have made a previous purchase or apply). You’ll basically be signing up to be an affiliate with them – meaning you’ll get paid a percentage for all sales you direct to their website.
In essence, for every person who clicks your link and makes a purchase – you’ll get an alert and a record of the order. You’ll make 20-40% of the sale in commission (see more below about the Crunchi Advocate compensation plan). At the very least, if you sell $100 in sales, you’ll earn $20.
It’s important to note that it does cost something to be an advocate. There is an annual fee of $59 to be an advocate. There are a few opportunities through the year to join for much less (as low as $9!), so keep in touch with me if you’d like to know more.
What do Advocates Get for Joining?
For the annual fee, you get 20% off all Crunchi products (always), free shipping on orders over $100, and the ability to earn all that commission money!
At the same time that you join as an advocate, you also get the option to buy skincare sets at 25-40% off to help you get started.
Crunchi also often runs monthly incentives for hitting certain PV (personal volume) amounts and NCPV (new client personal volume – sales made to first-time Crunchi buyers). This is usually a free product, product credit, or early access to nearly launching products.
If this seems exciting, let me tell you that you will not be doing this alone. If you sign on as a Crunchi advocate with me, I will be there to help you as much as you need. I can help you learn about products; create ideas for how to learn, teach, and connect with clients; and how to join larger teams for community. Or if you don’t want any of that from me, that’s fine too. I’m here as much as you’d like.
The customer service with Crunchi is also FANTASTIC for both customers and advocates. We have a separate email address to reach out to with questions and concerns. I have always heard back within 24 hours (during the weekdays) when I’ve reached out. My clients have also had the same success in reaching out. It’s one of the (many) wonderful things about being a Crunchi advocate.
Crunchi Compensation Plan
Advocates are paid in two ways from their personal sales. The first is a commission on their personal volume (PV), which is the total amount of sales made. This starts out at 20% and can get up to 40%.
Personal Sales Commission
| Monthly Personal Volume (PV) | Payout % |
|---|---|
| $0 | 20% |
| $1,000 | 25% |
| $2,500 | 30% |
| $7,500 | 35% |
| $15,000 | 40% |
Personal Volume (PV): The total volume of your client purchases combined with your personal purchases.
Note: Body category products have a volume (CV/QV) equal to 60% of the purchase price.
New Client Bonus
The second component of the Crunchi Advocate Compensation plan is a bonus payment based on the amount of sales made to new clients (i.e. someone who’s never purchased from Crunchi before).
| Monthly New Client Personal Volume (NCPV) | Bonus |
|---|---|
| 250 | $50 |
| 500 | $100 |
| 750 | $150 |
| 1,000 | $200 |
| 2,000 | $400 |
| 3,000 | $600 |
New Client Personal Volume (NCPV): The total volume generated from all of your new client orders.
FAQs
How much do Crunchi Advocates make?
You can see in the plan above that advocates start at 20% commission every month. As you sell more (your personal volume – PV) and as you gain new clients, you can earn a higher and higher percentage!
One of the BEST parts of being in direct sales as a Crunchi advocate is that you don’t just earn on someone’s first purchase but on all their subsequent purchasers (assuming they don’t switch to another advocate).
I’ve been blogging for over a decade and one of the biggest frustrations of affiliate marketing is that after the first purchase, I rarely receive credit (i.e. earn commission) for someone’s future purchases even though I turned them onto the brand. With Crunchi, you get credit for every purchase someone makes, so you aren’t constantly having to chase people down with link!
How do I make my first Crunchi Sale?
When you join as an advocate, you’ll be encouraged to get busy making long lists and “cold calling” lots of people. That doesn’t work for everyone (myself included), so we’ll work together to help you get that first sale.
Crunchi also has a New Advocate Launch Program, which gives you more incentives to make those first sales – see the graph below.
This is totally feasible. Together we can make it happen for you!
| Month | Achieve | Reward |
|---|
| Month 1 (Enrollment Month) | 500 PV | $100 Product Credit |
| Month 1 (Enrollment Month) | 1,000 PV | $100 Cash |
| Month 2 | 500 PV | $100 Product Credit |
| Month 2 | 1,000 PV | $100 Cash |
| Month 3 | 500 PV | $100 Product Credit |
| Month 3 | 1,000 PV | $100 Cash |
How Will I know I’ve Made my First Sale?
With every sale tethered to your account, you’ll receive an email from Crunch directly. These emails sometimes take up to 30 minutes to appear in your inbox – and even longer to appear in the Crunchi BackOffice where you can track your sales.
Do Personal Crunchi Purchases Count toward Personal volume (PV)?
Yep! You won’t earn commission based on your purchases, but the total PV amount can get you to new levels in commission rates.
If a client uses Loyalty Points, does it count toward my PV?
The amount of the purchase paid with by loyalty points does not count toward your PV. So if I client makes a $150 order and uses $50 in loyalty points, your PV will only increase $100.
If a client returns a product, will I lose money?
Yes, if a client returns a product, the commission you earned will be ‘recollected.’ This is referred to as the “clawback” in the backend. I rarely have returns by clients, so I wouldn’t worry about this. It also pays to help clients find the right products for themselves!
