Refillable Deodorant

You know what’s interesting? Refillable deodorant is a hot search online. I guess we’re all decently aware of the plastic packaging and how you can’t throw a deodorant container into the recycling (hello proper deodorant recycling)!

So just like with refillable makeup and refillable skincare, refillable deodorants aren’t zero waste, but they generally cut back on packaging and especially packaging that’s non-curbside recyclable.

When looking at refillable deodorant options, I encourage you to look at what the refills come in as much as anything else. I’m likely to lean toward refills packaged in cardboard rather than anything plastic.

On that note, the best natural deodorant for me actually just comes in a cardboard container, so it’s not technically refillable, but it’s maybe even a bit better since there’s no outer container.

Everyone’s bodies and scent preferences are different, however, so I know Native doesn’t work for everyone!
