It’s been toying with fall weather in LA this week. It still peaks a little too warm in the afternoon, but the evenings are chilly and it’s amazing. After four years of living in southern California, however, I know not to count on this early of a transition to fall – something that usually happens after Halloween! I can see temps expected to creep back up next week, but I’m heading to Canada where they know how to do fall, so I’m not bothered by it one bit! So on the topic of getting into fall fashion (for real)…
Green Military Jacket Ideas
You all know I’m rather obsessed with my tan leather jacket. I wear it what feels like all the time, but olive green military jacket ideas are just as crucial in my wardrobe and deserve their own little love story.
I’ve had this outer layer for at least three years and it amazes me how often I reach for it – all year long. As you can see in all these military jacket outfit ideas, I really like the jacket with white jeans. But it’s obviously perfect with black or grey pants and don’t you just love it with the blue striped shirt?
Olive green military jackets are pretty popular right now. They’re available in a slew of colors and styles – form-fitting to loose and baggy. I really like that I can layer a long sleeve shirt underneath this one but still have a tailored look, avoiding the bulk we all despise!
This jacket from CeCe has a fun punch of color and that feminine detail on the back is swoon-worthy. This quilted-esque jacket from KUT from the Kloth looks like the perfect layering piece as well. If you live in colder climbs and need a little more in your outerwear, however, this J. Crew “field” jacket would be great at keeping you warm!
