Black Jumpsuit Outfit
If you’re wondering how to wear a jumpsuit in winter, don’t fret. With some simple planning, you can have an easy one and done look in no time!
I’ve loved the look of jumpsuits and rompers (not the short, short ones) for a while. My rather lengthy torso, however, limits the number of jumpsuits I can wear.
Here are some tips for how to dress a long torso!
I do have a sleeveless jumpsuit that just fits my long upper half and I absolutely love it. I recently saw this maternity jumpsuit and figured that if there was ever a chance that a jumpsuit would be lengthy enough, this was it. Of course, I was still nervous to try it on, but lo and behold, it’s perfect!
While there’s still room to grow in this piece, it’s so comfortable and chic. I brought it with me to Europe after I figured out how to wear a jumpsuit in winter. After all, you can’t have too many layers in the way…

How to Wear a Jumpsuit in Winter
There are two things to consider when wearing a jumpsuit in cold weather outfit (see what to wear in forty degree weather). First is the outer layers. You need to wear something that can come off quickly – for those restroom runs!
This wrap coat is really more of an outdoor coat, anyway, so I don’t wear it long once I’m inside. I did make the rookie mistake of throwing a shawl over my jumpsuit a few weeks ago. That lasted about one trip to the bathroom before I saw my error.
You can also see this wrap coat in my thermal tights and short dress outfit!
As for finishing touches, a scarf is probably a must, especially if it has a lower neckline!
The second thing to consider when thinking about how to wear a jumpsuit in the winter is inner layers. Anything that goes under your jumpsuit is less likely to get in your way.
I always wear a tank top under jumpsuits, but you can also add a long sleeve shirt for a much warmer layer. Tights are actually also an option – just pull them down with the pants portion of your jumpsuit.
